TLC WORK WEEKEND

A weekend opportunity for alumni to show up, pick up, and party down as we beautify the highway and wake up the lake!

Lead by TLC alum playwright and producer Josh Wilder, the Playwrights Workshop Summit continues to create community with TLC as its training ground for the development of playwrights of all backgrounds, ages and experiences.

McKnight Dancers and Choreographers return to TLC for their 15th annual retreat week fostering community through conversation, meals, shared work, and play.

TLC hosts our annual gathering of the Board of Directors for a week of planning (and playing) and strategizing ways to keep our mission and vision strong and supported.

Catalyst Arts’ Black Artist Family Retreat

We’re delighted to continue this retreat with Catalyst Arts for the third time - giving black artists and their families restorative and creative time together to work (and play) in the woods and water!
Happy Hour Book Club

One of the many things our former board member Bernadette Christiansen founded was a book club! We are happy to welcome the Happy Hour Book Club to Tofte Lake Center - a place that Bernie held close to her heart.

We are honored to host the selected artist playwright fellows from the Four Seasons and Four Directions residencies, awarded filmmakers from the Ely Film Festival, and this coming year’s Birch Fellow for a week of creative community!
